Some advice before you start
Step 1
Before proceeding to replace the complete screen of your Galaxy S7 you must, for evident safety reasons, turn off your phone.
To do this, hold down the off button for a few seconds, then confirm by selecting "turn off"
Step 2
Insert the SIM/micro SD card tray opening tool into the hole on the top edge of your phone, as seen above.
Then gently push the tool in.
Step 3
Next, take hold of the MicroSD/SIM card tray and remove it.
Step 4
Use a heat gun to start to soften the glue on the rear panel.
The glass rear panel is slightly curved and fixed well. If you use a hairdryer, pay particular attention to the corners of the glass. Don't hesitate to restart if you feel like it hasn't come unstuck.
Using the suction cup, lift the glass just enough to insert a opening pick between the frame and the rear panel.
Then, slide the opening pick around the entirety of the screen.
Step 5
Slide the opening pick around the entire rear panel to ensure it's completely unstuck and can be lifted.
Then start to lift the panel up.
Don't hesitate to heat the rear panel again if it doesn't lift off easily.
Step 6
Using a cross-headed screwdriver, unscrew the 12 screws that secure the internal frame of the phone, as seen circled in red above.
Step 7
Next, use the nylon spudger to pull up the top of the frame.
Step 8
Then lift, using the nylon spudger, the central section of the frame.
Step 9
Use the pointed end of the spudger to pull back the gold adhesive between the bottom part of the frame and the battery.
Step 10
Then, lift the bottom of the frame, all the while using the pointed end of the spudger.
Step 11
Next, unscrew the battery connector.
Step 12
In order to soften the glue underneath the battery, heat it for a few seconds with a hair dryer.
Then, with the flat edge of the spudger, lift up the battery.
Be careful to not heat the battery too much, as it can damage it.
Step 13
Unfix the battery by lifting its full length.
The battery of your Galaxy S7 is now removed.
Step 14
Use the pointed end of the nylon spudger to disconnect the small cable for the internal speaker.

Step 29
Use the hair dryer to soften the glue between the screen and the screen frame.

Repeat this action on the entire bottom of the frame.
Step 30

Only pry up the edge of the screen, and pay careful attention to the shortcut keys at the base of the screen which are glued to the glass.
